Rise up!

Our Rise Up Teens program teaches young people taking action on issues like climate change, equality, and homelessness to create, sustainable communities. It boosts mental health and empowers them to fight inequality. Teens will learn how to get involved and use their voices in local protests, school, service events, and online.

Rise Up! teaches

  • Activism: Participating in marches, sit-ins, and community forums.

  • Education: Reading books like The Hate U Give or Stonewall to understand different perspectives.

  • Digital Activism: Using social media to raise awareness about social issues.

  • Local Politics: Attending city council meetings, have open discussions with city leaders, meeting activists and change makers, and writing to local legislators.

  • Training: teens will have the opportunity to get Stop the bleed, Protest Safety, Peace Monitor Training and more.

All of our programs celebrate different identities, cultures, and faith walks. All leaders are background checked, safe zone certified, and have first aide/stop the bleed training.

Programs every Wednesday night at 5 pm followed by free Vegan Community Dinners.
