The Crowded Table
Why?
Mosaic is built on three things: Sanctuary, Community, and Empowerment. For four years we've been figuring out how to turn those into a real, physical place.
In October 2024, we were gifted a building right by Greenfield Lake. Instead of a typical sanctuary, we saw something else — a coffee shop. A place where community happens over a cup, where the profits fund grants for LGBTQ+ people and families facing homelessness or hardship, and where nobody has to earn their seat at the table.
The Crowded Table opens January 2027. Over the next few months we'll have volunteer days, wish lists, and fundraising milestones to share — and we'd love for you to be part of it.

We have a space, our community has a need. Together we can change lives. There are unhoused LGBTQ+ people that need a safe space and a chance where the world failed them. We also have low income LGBTQ+ kids who don’t have the privilege to overcome the treatment they receive in schools and in our community. With the proceeds from every coffee sold, we can make life a little bit better for both groups.
