Peace. Love, and Pizza, Teen Night
Once a month, middle and high schoolers (ages 11–17) are invited to gather for pizza, community, and meaningful conversations about justice and how to show up for one another in the world, with time to eat and hang out, a fun icebreaker, a short “big idea” on topics like media literacy and understanding marginalized communities, small group discussion, and a creative activity or craft.
Grief Support Group
12 sessions, with a break on Good Friday, April 3rd.
Facilitator- Paula Lowther, Nurse Practitioner
This is an inclusive group, open to all who have grieved for any kind of loss in your life. It may be the loss of a childhood, or a loved one.
To be human and to love is to make ourselves vulnerable to grief. It is a universal element of human nature.
We will discuss the nature of grief and the effects on our bodies. A guided meditation will be used each week, to assist with participants’ centering and grounding prior to the discussions.
We will talk about how death shapes the grief, the release of feelings and the release of the burden of guilt. We will honor our losses.
And, we will discuss what healing and integration can look like for individuals.
Dialogos Worship
Dialogos is Greek for “through words”. It originally meant discussion to find truth. Each week we will work our way through each book found in our Bible. We will look at the time period, key verses and stories, some of the original language, and how it fits into the overall story of our scripture.
After the sermon, the second half of the service is a discussion. Everyone will have a chance to share their understanding and experiences, ask the Pastor questions, and talk about what we are going through.
Childcare available.
Monthly Board Meeting
Our monthly Mosaic Board meetings are open to the community.
This is the time to be a part of the work of our community. Your voice is integral to what we do and the board acts as a collector of the voices and needs of the people of Mosaic. Any major votes will be open to the community and a listening session will happen before any vote is taken.
Common Ground Service
Common Ground is an Interfaith service with a focus on social justice. Through learning about different cultures and religions and how they connect, we will build a community that can bring positive change to the lives of those connected to us and to the world.
This is a more traditional service with a choir, readings, and moments to reflect. In this time we will focus on an inclusive community built with love and cover different civil rights leaders, justice warriors, historical moments and faith connections across religions.
The Tapestry
The Tapestry is a chance to dive deeper into the scriptures with Pastor Kelley. Each week we will look at different themes from the Bible and how they developed through faith traditions. From angels and demons to rainbows and numbers, we will look at how they were understood in Ancient Israel and how they developed into the ideas we have today.
Our Spring Session begins in February and runs through May.
This is for ages 15 and up. Kids above 12 can come at the discretion of parents. Childcare can be provided upon request for a small donation.
Butterfly Families
Butterfly Families are families with one or more trans individuals. The second Thursday of each month, we have a gathering time for these beautiful parents and children. These evenings will be led by Captain Shelby, our nonbinary family Minister, and Chrissy Keefe, a transgender woman, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist co-owner of La Serenidad Therapy Services. As the group grows evenings will be based on the needs of the families… Some nights may be potlucks, some may be family discussions or games.

Ash Wednesday
Remember you are dust and to dust you will return.
In the liturgy on Ash Wednesday, Pastor Kelley will draw an ashen cross, and remind each, “to dust you will return.” It’s one of the most moving gestures of ministry.
The Christian community prepares for Easter by entering this holy season of Lent with these words and this mark. We begin Lent remembering our need for repentance (turning) and our reliance on the forgiveness of God. We do so in the hope that Lent may be a time of renewal, growth and transformation.

Portrait Mosaic - April 2026 Community Project
Each month our Mosaic Community has a project that everyone is invited to participate in. For January our focus is on Building Community so our project is a reflection of the beautiful people who make our Mosaic Faith Community so amazing.
This month we are starting a Mosaic Gallery Wall. Everyone, every age is invited to create a self portrait on a 4x4 Canvas we will provide. You can paint a classical portrait, make a collage, cover the canvas in yarn or fabric, or just glue your favorite picture to the square… be creative and on this blank canvas share who you are. We will use these to create a giant Mosaic Gallery of the amazing people who are a part of our community.
As new members join us over the coming years, we will offer a blank canvas so that you can add to our Mosaic.

Community Drum Circle/Jam Session
Our Mosaic Band invites everyone to join us on Wednesday evenings to practice songs for our church services, followed by a jam session of other songs you’d like to share with the group. Bring your songbooks, voices, guitars, ukuleles, drums, djembes, bongos and any other musical instrument you enjoy playing. (All levels of experience are welcome. Being able to read or memorize music is not required.) We will share lyrics, melodies, harmonies, and rhythms as we find connection through music. Extra songbooks, ukuleles, and small percussion instruments will be available for use during our practices/sessions.
The Mosaic Band is a group of singers, musicians, and drummers that performs music during our Sunday services. Members from the band play two songs during the 11:00 am Dialogos Worship Service or the 1:00 pm Common Ground Interfaith Service, and sometimes both. Help us build our Mosaic community with songs about Justice, Love, and Peace.
Speak with Peter, the Band Leader, for more information.

Portrait Mosaic - January 2026 Community Project
