Your First Visit
Your First Visit
Visiting a new community can feel intimidating, so we want you to know what to expect. Whether you join us in person or online, you are welcome to participate as much or as little as feels comfortable.
Visit Us on Sunday
Dialogos begins at 11:00 AM. Dialogos is our United Methodist service, but it may feel different from other church services you have attended. We worship, read scripture, and hear a sermon, followed by an open discussion about the message, the church, faith, and everyday life. Questions and different perspectives are always welcome.
Coffee Hour begins at noon. This is a relaxed time to enjoy coffee, meet people, and connect with our community between services.
Common Ground begins at 1:00 PM. Common Ground follows a more traditional service structure while exploring social justice and the connections among different religions, cultures, and spiritual traditions. People of every faith and no faith are welcome, and no one is expected to believe the same things.
What Should I Wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and most like yourself. Some people come in dresses, some wear pants, and occasionally someone arrives in pajamas. We want you to express yourself—and we will celebrate you for it.
Visit Us on Wednesday
Our Wednesday Social Hour begins at 5:00 PM. You can play games, join the Ask the Pastor Anything table, bring children to the activities downstairs, or listen while the Mosaic band plays requests.
At 6:00 PM, we gather for a vegan potluck. Bring a vegan dish to share if you can. Gluten-free options are available, but you never need to bring food to attend. If you cannot bring a dish, Mosaic will make sure there is enough for everyone.
Visit Us Online
Our online members are called Circuit Riders, continuing the Methodist tradition of taking community and care beyond the walls of a church building.
Circuit Riders can participate in Harm to Healing, our online support groups, and other digital gatherings. You can sign up for a free online membership that gives you access to our Zoom meetings and online pastor’s office hours.
Whether you live nearby, live far away, cannot attend in person, or simply feel safer beginning online, you are a valued part of our community.
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your story, and your whole self. There is a place for you here.
