Our Three Branches
Our Three Branches
Mosaic is one community with three distinct branches. Each creates a different way for people to gather, connect, serve, and belong.
Mosaic United Methodist Church
Mosaic UMC is our Methodist branch. It is a progressive, LGBTQIA+ affirming Christian community rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the Wesleyan tradition. We study the Bible, worship together, celebrate an open Communion table, ask difficult questions, and work to put our faith into action through love and justice.
Common Ground Collective
Common Ground Collective is our interfaith branch. It welcomes people from every faith tradition, spiritual path, and no faith tradition. We gather to learn from one another, explore shared values, honor our differences, and work together for compassion and justice. No one is expected to convert, agree on everything, or leave their own beliefs behind.
The Crowded Table
The Crowded Table is our mission branch. Through our pay-what-you-can coffee shop, community meals, support programs, and local partnerships, we create practical ways to care for our neighbors. The people most affected by an issue help guide our response because our work is rooted in the principle, “Nothing about us without us.”
Together, these three branches help us live out one shared purpose: creating a community where everyone can find connection, dignity, and a place at the table.
